With the line up confirmed and distributed, the weekend tickets for the FIV 2018 taking place later this month are sold out.​

This year the festival has, thanks to Mahou, a new activity for attendants. The Concierto Mahou Cinco Estrellas will be a surprise until the artist steps into the stage. The line up does include artists such as Xoel López or Shinova (performing on Friday 27) and Lori Meyers, Novedades Carminha or Nunatak (Saturday 28).

The festival also includes other cultural activities aside from live performances. There will be two conferences on the importance of radio stations for festivals and David Bowie’s life before he became a star. The British artist will also be the subject on an exhibition of paintings. There will also be screenings of two movies related to the music industry – Idol by Hany Abu-Assad and Mi vida entre las hormigas, a documentary on the Spanish band Ilegales.
