Muerdo to release new album
The album will be available on January 21st on multiple platforms
Muerdo’s third album – Viento Sur – will be available on Thursday 21st. In this album Muerdo has mixed different styles such as reggae, son, funk, chacarera, hip hop and ska.
Muerdo has worked again with some instrumentalists such as Jordi Mestres, Daniel Tejedor and Samuel Vidal. Some other musicians joined in for this album, as it is the case of Argentinian percussionist Martín Bruhn.
But there are also some national and international collaborations in the album. El Kanka joined Muerdo for “Luz natural”, and Chilean artist Pascuala Ilabaca performs “Paisaje submarino” along with Muerdo, where they reflect on migration and marine pollution. There is also a remix by DJ Panko, who used to be a member of Ojos de Brujo.
